Well, at least it’s Friday.
Hello friends. We come to you on this Friday after the Mariners have officially been eliminated from postseason contention with the Royals and Tigers each winning yesterday. There will be plenty of time for offseason chatter, but with the postseason coming up in under a week, here’s what’s going on around baseball.

- Former Astros infielder Marwin González announced his retirement from baseball. The 35-year-old had spent the last two years of his career in Japan.
