Sunday links!
Good morning, foLLks, and happy Sunday! We have a slightly late batch of links for you to peruse.
In Mariners news:
- Mariners prospect Michael Arroyo is playing in the Venezuelan Winter League, and popped a homer. Also, we are over at Bluesky!
Come for Mariners prospect Michael Arroyo bopping a dinger in his native Venezuela, stay for the photobomb of a truly terrifying mascot

Around the league:
- The Reds are signing catcher – and the Mariners’ 2014 first-round draft pick – Alex Jackson to a minor league deal. The 28-year-old appeared in a career-high 58 games and 158 plate appearances with the Rays, slashing just .122/.201/.237. He’ll likely give the Louisville Bats their starting catcher, at least.
- Mike Petriello at MLB.com ranked each team’s current roster, and has the Mariners ranked 10th. Does #10org have a nice ring to it?
- The Angels have reached a new TV deal with FanDuel Sports Network.
- There’s a standard Jon Morosi disclaimer here, but the market looks to be heating up for one of the top available free agent relievers.
Carlos Estévez is among the (many) free agent relievers in whom the Yankees have interest as the offseason begins. @MLBNetwork https://t.co/WVJTj1EqKn

- Righty Luis Curvelo is nearing a major-league contract signing with the Rangers. Curvelo spent 2024 with Double-A Arkansas in the Mariners’ org.
