Give it up for GAME THIRTY!
After yesterday’s double loss in the split squad games, the Mariners are off to Camelback Ranch for their final game away of the spring, visiting the Chicago White Sox.
It’s Luis Castillo’s final start of the spring, and it should be an easy one for him, contending with a team that lost 121 games last year. I know I didn’t have to mention it, I just like to. Castillo has had a decent spring so far, picking up 12.2 IP over the previous 4 starts, while striking out 8. He’ll be backed up today by an interesting lineup that is notably missing Cal Raleigh. Instead, Blake Hunt will get an opportunity to catch.
Probable pitchers to follow Luis include Brandyn Garcia, Tayler Saucedo, and Drew Pomeranz.

It’s a split squad day for the Sox, so the biggest name in the lineup is Luis Robert Jr. Former Mariner Josh Rojas has a hairline fracture on his toe, so he won’t be making an appearance today.
Today’s game will be broadcast over the radio waves, and you can tune in to Seattle Sports 710 AM to give it a listen. Rick Rizzs and Gary Hill Jr. will be on the call. First pitch is at 1:05 pm PT.
