The present, and then future, are on display today on TV no less.
The Friday night fever you’ve all been waiting for, it’s a Spring Training doubleheader of televised games. First up is the big league club, with an extremely plausible Opening Day lineup, featuring Emerson Hancock (as he was meant to start yesterday’s rainout). After that 1 PM game, we’ll see a game under the lights, with the Spring Breakout of prospects rosters facing off against the prospects from the Cleveland Guardians as well.
Lineups:
Only Tellez currently looks out of place on this otherwise plausible Opening Day roster, and even that’s no sure thing. Rowdy’s hit well the past few weeks, with a reasonable track record of hitting, and could be hitting himself into contention as the club’s last bench bat.

Then in Game Two, the Spring Breakout will feature a wide array of options, headlined by nearly all Seattle’s top prospects.
