the boys are back in town again, been hangin’ down at t-mobile
Hello and welcome back to FanPost Friday, the first one of the 2025 regular season. Finally, real baseball things to discuss! Well, kinda. Today we’re hear to talk about everyone’s Opening Day experience, whether you attended in person or watched from near or far.
The most pressing question for many probably has to do with wanting to know how the new food items at the park were cookin’ yesterday. One of our mods, btownfritz, was in attendance with a friend and wanted to try the blue/teal Takis-dusted, cheese-dipped corndog. As with many things lost in the chaos of a giant Opening Day crowd, Fritz’s dog was, well, not quite as advertised:

In spite of its looks, Fritz did say it was “tasty.” His friend got one, too, and he fared a bit better:

I hope you enjoyed this bit of hard-hitting corn dog-focused investigative reporting. We work hard here at LL.
Onto the prompts!
If you attended the game, what was the best food item you tried?
If you attended the game, what was your favorite non-in-game moment?
If you didn’t attend the game, how/where did you watch or listen?
If you watched the game on ROOT Sports, what stood out to you about the new broadcast team and production?
All right, hope everyone enjoyed having baseball back in their lives as much as I did last night. Enjoy the rest of the series and have a great weekend!
