Texans-Chiefs and Ravens-Steelers are on tap for the NFL, while a trio of College Football Playoff games are happening on the same day.
This is a bit of an unusual day in the world of football. Year one of the 12-team College Football Playoff kicked off on Friday night with Notre Dame hammering Indiana, and now the other three matchups (SMU at Penn State, Clemson at Texas, and Tennessee at Ohio State) will happen on Saturday.
There’s also Week 16 of NFL action on Saturday, which has been normal for decades, whereas college football having meaningful games in this portion of December is decidedly not. The Kansas City Chiefs host the Houston Texans, while the Baltimore Ravens look to pull even with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the race for the AFC North title.
We’re doing a super open thread for everything! Enjoy wall-to-wall football.
