When September 2025 rolls around, the Seattle Seahawks will start their 50th season in franchise history. Time flies, doesn’t it?
As you might expect, the Seahawks will be all about commemorating this special milestone through offseason and in-season activities. If you were coming here expecting Seattle to make the throwbacks the permanent new uniforms, then this is not the article for you. However, you will see the team wear a snazzy “50” patch with all of their uniform combos this year.

The team unveiled a special commemorative 50th season logo that will be featured this season on player uniforms, retail items and more. Featuring a clean outline and bold font, the logo’s color palette combines the current College Navy and Royal Blue from the team’s original logo in 1976, while the 12 feathers at the base represents an homage to the fans – the 12s.
An exclusive 50th season collection featuring apparel and headwear is available now at The Pro Shop. Jerseys featuring the official 50th season patch arrive in-store this summer. Fans can also enter to win an Elite Custom Jersey with the official patch by entering on Seahawks Instagram, Facebook, and X through April 1, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
For anyone who lives in the Seattle area or intends to go to the city soon, the Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture will have a pop-up display called, Seahawks 50: A Legacy in Blue and Green running from NFL Draft week (Apr. 24) through January 2026.
Speaking of the NFL Draft, there will be a Seahawks draft party in conjunction with a 50th anniversary celebration!
The Seahawks will celebrate the 2025 NFL Draft with two nights of 50th Season Celebration & Draft Party events at MOPOP, presented by Lumen. The events will give attendees a first look at the team’s 50th season pop-up display on Thursday, April 24, and Friday, April 25. The parties will include live coverage of Seahawks draft picks, Seahawks Legends panel discussions highlighting exclusive stories from Seahawks history, appearances by the Seahawks Dancers, Blitz, and more. Thursday’s event will be co-hosted by Seahawks sideline reporter Jen Mueller and Seahawks Legend Matt Hasselbeck, with panels featuring Seahawks Legends Steve Largent and Jim Zorn. Friday’s event will be co-hosted by Hasselbeck and Seahawks Legend & Radio Analyst Bryan Walters, with panels featuring Seahawks Legends Largent, Zorn, and Jermaine Kearse. Tickets for both days are free, with Season Ticket Holders being provided an exclusive access window starting at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 26. Starting at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 28 any remaining inventory will be made available to the public.
