Grant Udinski is a candidate to replace former Buccaneers offensive coordinator Liam Coen. He’s also interviewed twice with the Seahawks.
Believe it or not, there are several NFL teams other than the Seattle Seahawks looking for an offensive coordinator. One of those teams is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who thought they’d retained the services of Liam Coen for another year, only for the Jacksonville Jaguars to dramatically reel Coen back in to be their head coach. Evidently all it took was firing general manager Trent Baalke to change this crazy story.
One of Tampa’s early candidates is Minnesota Vikings assistant offensive coordinator/assistant quarterbacks coach Grant Udinski, whom you may recall has already been interviewed twice by the Seahawks.
We’ve completed a virtual interview with Grant Udinski for our OC position.

The 28-year-old Udinski has been held in high regard as a young assistant on the rise in the NFL. He’s never called plays or been an offensive coordinator at any level of football, but it seems there is enough interest in his services that he’s been interviewed by the Seahawks, Buccaneers, and New England Patriots (who have since hired Josh McDaniels for the umpteenth time).
Tampa Bay also held a virtual interview with Los Angeles Chargers passing game coordinator Marcus Brady, who doesn’t have any reported ties to the Seahawks OC search.
