The Seattle Seahawks have found their Ryan Grubb replacement.
The Seattle Seahawks’ search for a new offensive coordinator is over.

This will be Kubiak’s third offensive coordinator job in four seasons. He was the OC for the Minnesota Vikings in 2021, only for Mike Zimmer to be fired and the staff not retained. After spending the 2023 season as passing game coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers, helping lead Brock Purdy to an MVP finalist season, Kubiak was hired by the Saints to be their OC.
A red-hot start through the first two weeks of the season gave way to a slew of injuries to quarterback Derek Carr, key offensive line starters, Chris Olave, Taysom Hill, and eventually Alvin Kamara. It’s hard to really gauge his Saints tenure given how many people were injured throughout the year. With Saints head coach Dennis Allen fired midseason, Kubiak was essentially destined to be finding work elsewhere (along with the rest of Allen’s staff).
We’ll have more updates as they’re available.
