The Seattle Seahawks reportedly made another tough decision on defense Saturday.
Per Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, the team has decided to place the former Pro Bowl safety on injured reserve with a knee injury and he will be forced to miss at least the next four games.
Fans reacted to the news on Twitter.
“Place him on cut reserve,” a user replied.
“What a terrible trade,” another said.
“That trade was as terrible as the Russell Wilson trade was great for the hawks. I guess it’s a net neutral then,” a fan tweeted.
“I just know Connor Hughes biting his tongue rn trying to hold back the loudest ‘YIKES’ ever known to mankind,” another person commented.
“Jamal Adams (being ass) will finish his season on IR.”
“Jamal Adams (fractured pride) has been placed on IR.”
“You can be mad at him for other moves but Joe Douglas getting Alihah Vera-Tucker AND Garrett Wilson for Jamal Adams was an absolute W for the Jets,” another user tweeted.
Adams has started all nine of his games with Seattle this season.
