Miles Boykin worked out for the Seahawks earlier in the week.
As expected, the Seattle Seahawks have made changes to the practice squad ahead of Wednesday’s practice for the Miami Dolphins game.
Wide receiver Miles Boykin and running back Brittain Brown have been added, while safety Marquise Blair and defensive tackle Quinton Bohanna have been removed. Seattle has an extra 17th spot on the practice squad through Kenneth Odumegwu, who’s classified as an International Pathway Player.
Boykin was among the notable players who worked out for the Seahawks on Tuesday. The former Notre Dame star has familiarity with head coach Mike Macdonald from their days with the Baltimore Ravens. He has 38 catches for 498 yards and 7 touchdowns over five NFL seasons.
Brown, much like Seahawks receiver Jake Bobo, started at Duke before transferring to UCLA. He was taken in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Las Vegas Raiders. The 26-year-old didn’t play any offensive snaps for the Raiders but did have 61 special teams snaps before he was let go. With Kenneth Walker III dealing with an oblique injury, it’s not too surprising to see Seattle add another running back.
