After firing their general manager, Tennessee has requested to interview a member of the Seahawks front office.
The Seattle Seahawks finished the 2024 season on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs, and while their search for a new offensive coordinator is underway, other teams have come calling about at least one member of the Seattle front office.
Specifically, according to a report from NFL insider Jonathan Jones of CBS, after firing general manager Ran Carthon earlier in the week, the Tennessee Titans have requested to interview the Senior Director of Player Personnel for the Seahawks.
The Tennessee Titans have requested permission to interview Seahawks senior director of player personnel Matt Berry for their GM role, source says. Berry joined Seattle in 2008 and has been focused mostly on college scouting during his career there.

Matt Berry was hired by the Seahawks as a regional scout at the tail end of the Mike Homgren era, and took over as director of college scouting in 2015. Nearly two years ago he was promoted into his current role as Senior Director of Player Personnel, which put him in charge of both pro and college scouting for the Hawks, for those who may have gripes with recent free agent classes signed by the team.
