After trading DK Metcalf the Seahawks appear to be in the market for a big-bodied receiver, and are set to host Savion Williams of TCU on an Official 30 visit.
The 2025 NFL year reaches a week old Wednesday afternoon, and while many anticipated the Seattle Seahawks would put the cap space created by the trades of Geno Smith and DK Metcalf to work making additions to the offensive line, that has yet to happen.
However, with a gaping hole at wide receiver following the release of Tyler Lockett and the aforementioned trade of Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Hawks are reportedly set to host a big-bodied receiver on an Official 30 visit ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft per Brady Henderson of ESPN.
The Seahawks plan to bring in TCU receiver Savion Williams on a 30 visit, a source tells me. Williams (6-4, 222, 4.48 combine 40) is a versatile weapon who scored six receiving TDs and six rushing TDs in 12 games last year (threw for another). Also returned KOs as a freshman.

As Henderson notes, Savion Williams is a rather large individual, checking in at 6’4” and 222 pounds at the 2025 NFL Combine in Indianapolis earlier this offseason. Williams finished his career at TCU with 1,655 yards and 14 touchdowns receiving, along with 384 yards and a half dozen trips to the end zone as a rusher. Williams also averaged 22.3 yards per kickoff return during the COVID-shortened 2020 season, but has not returned either punts or kicks in the four seasons since.
As of publication, Williams is projected to be a late Day 2 or early Day 3 pick in the draft.
