Klint Kubiak looks to be a prime candidate for the Seahawks’ offensive coordinator job.
The offseason is slowly making its way forward, and for the Seattle Seahawks that means the search for the next offensive coordinator continues. The Hawks have been linked to several names, and on Thursday NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that Seattle is set to host a second interview with one of the known candidates on Friday.
The #Seahawks are doing a second, in-person interview with #Saints OC Klint Kubiak on Friday, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo.

As Rapoport notes, Klint Kubiak also interviewed for the previously open offensive coordinator role for the Cleveland Browns. However, Cleveland opted to go in a different direction, officially hiring Tommy Rees to fill the offensive coordinator role on Wednesday.
Kubiak has a decade and a half of experience as a coach at the college and NFL level, going all the way back to his time as an offensive quality control coach and graduate assistant at Texas A&M where he worked with Johnny Manziel. However, likely the most impressive stop in his coaching career is the season he spent in Lawrence, Kansas, as the wide receivers coach for the University of Kansas Jayhawks.
