The search for Ryan Grubb’s replacement continues, and a pair of candidates have now been linked to second interviews for the open position.
With the second round of the NFL postseason set for the weekend when teams take to the field for the Divisional Round, the Seattle Seahawks appear to have moved to the second round of interviews in the search for their next offensive coordinator.
Wednesday reports emerged that former New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak is set for a second interview for the open position on Friday, and on Thursday NFL Insider Mike Garofolo noted that another candidate will also have a second interview with the team.
#Vikings assistant Grant Udinski has advanced to the second round of the #Seahawks’ OC search. He’ll interview with the team in person today, sources say, after conducting a virtual interview earlier this week. https://t.co/akeUvitctJ

Minnesota Vikings assistant Grant Udinski is an up and comer whose knowledge and love of the game have been appropriately noted during his five years in the league with Minnesota and the Carolina Panthers. However, given the fact that he never coached for the mighty Kansas Jayhawks like Kubiak did, Udinski likely has an uphill battle trying to convince the Seahawks coaching to hire him.
