Mike Macdonald is wasting no time making notable moves as the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Seahawks are hiring Leslie Frazier as their assistant head coach.
“The onetime #Vikings head coach, Frazier has long been a mentor to Macdonald,” Pelissero said. “Now he joins Macdonald’s staff in Seattle.”
As a head coach from 2010-2013, Frazier had a 21-32-1 record with the Minnesota Vikings.
Frazier last coached for the Buffalo Bills in 2022. He was their defensive coordinator for six seasons.
Prior to being on Buffalo’s staff, Frazier was the secondary coach for the Baltimore Ravens. At that time, Macdonald was a defensive assistant on that staff.

Frazier will bring a ton of experience to Macdonald’s staff, which could be very beneficial to the Seahawks in the long run.
The Seahawks are certainly hoping the post-Pete Carroll era will be a successful one.
