One of the names most linked to the Seahawks open offensive coordinator position is reportedly set to stay with the Lions.
As the search for the next offensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks approaches the three week mark, many fans have settled in on their favorites. Whether that be Grant Udinski of the Minnesota Vikings, Hank Fraley of the Detroit Lions or Klint Kubiak of the New Orleans Saints, many fans are hoping that their guy gets hired and can lead the Hawks offense to glory in 2025.
While fans eagerly await reports of who Mike Macdonald and John Schneider will officially hire for the position, a report Friday from PFWA Member Zack Pearson who covers the Chicago Bears for BearsReport.com indicates one of the most mentioned candidates is likely out.
Sounds like Hank Fraley will be staying in Detroit and not joining the #Bears staff.

If this proves accurate regarding Fraley, it would certainly come as a significant disappointment to many. However, it would be par for the course when it comes to John Schneider and the Seahawks trying to recruit someone related to the offensive line of the Lions.
And for those who might not want to believe Pearson’s post, Fraley’s wife took to social media Friday afternoon to announce that the couple plans on staying in Detroit.
Update: Cross Fraley off the list for good. He’s getting a promotion to run game coordinator.
The #Lions are promoting Hank Fraley to run game coordinator/offensive line coach, per source.
