Could Darrell Bevell return to a role as an offensive coordinator?
Believe it or not, there are other NFL teams besides the Seattle Seahawks looking for offensive coordinators. One of them is even looking at a current Seahawks coach and a former Seahawks offensive coordinator to possibly fill that role.
CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones reported on Thursday that Seahawks quarterbacks coach Charles London and longtime Seahawks OC Darrell Bevell are both expected to interview for Cleveland’s vacant OC position.

The Browns moved on from offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and former Seahawks offensive line coach Andy Dickerson after just one season.
London was hired by the Seahawks to replace Greg Olson as quarterbacks coach last offseason. After spending much of his NFL career as a running backs coach, London switched to quarterbacks coach in 2021 when he was with the Atlanta Falcons. He’s never been an offensive coordinator at either the collegiate or professional level.
Since he was let go by the Seahawks in 2017, Bevell has had the misfortune of serving as offensive coordinator for Matt Patricia with the Detroit Lions and Urban Meyer with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bevell did get to rack up a few games as an interim head coach when his bosses got fired midseason, going 2-7 over nine games. He’s been the Dolphins’ passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach since 2022.
If London lands the Browns job, he’d be the third member of Seattle’s 2024 offensive staff to move on. The Seahawks have already fired offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, while offensive assistant Zak Hill went back to Boise State.
