The HawksZone Rundown podcast discusses the Seahawks’ OC search, the future of Geno Smith, and offensive linemen of interest.
Another year, another Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator search.
Okay, I won’t be that dramatic. It’s the second search in as many seasons, but it is the third one in the 2020s and the decade is only halfway over. Brian Schottenheimer was canned for Shane Waldron, then Waldron was replaced by Ryan Grubb, who was fired and will be replaced by ???
We think that Klint Kubiak has an inside track to be the Seahawks’ newest OC based on Thursday’s developments, but a second interview doesn’t mean he’s hired. This is just one of the many fascinating components of Seattle’s 2025 offseason, which also includes the quarterback decision regarding Geno Smith, the potential of drafting a QB whether or not Geno is here, and then there’s the offensive line. Yeah, the offensive line again.
Hosts Ryan MacMillan, Bryce Coutts, and myself returned for Ep. 7 of ‘Pulse of the ‘Hawks’ on the HawksZone Rundown podcast. We ran north of one hour and 40 minutes because it was a whole lot to unpack. Thanks to those who participated in last night’s live chat, including that dude who insisted Trey Lance needed to be the Seahawks’ starter.
