The Seahawks shocked the Eagles at home on Monday, as Drew Lock tossed a game-winning touchdown pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba with 28 seconds remaining.
Despite Lock’s heroics on Monday night, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll announced that Geno Smith is “going to practice all this week and play in the game and away we go.”
Smith has missed the past two games for the Seahawks due to a groin injury. His status for Week 15 was up in the air leading up to kickoff.
Barring a setback, Smith’s status for Sunday’s game against the Titans won’t be in question.
“He might have done great, but at least we bought him another week and now he’s ready to go,” Carroll said. “He’ll have a full week of prep.”

Going back to the bench can’t be easy for Lock, especially after leading the Seahawks to victory. In his past two starts, he had 477 passing yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.
That being said, Smith has proven to be Seattle’s best option the past two seasons.
