Pete Carroll took the podium with some very encouraging news regarding quarterback Geno Smith on Wednesday.
Speaking to the media, the Seahawks head coach revealed that Smith will be a “full go” for today’s practice. Telling Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune”
“Geno will come back to practice. He’s gonna practice today, he’ll go full go and we’ll see how that works. That’s exciting for us… We’ve gotta get cranked up because we’ve got three games to go. So hopefully we do a great job today.”

Smith was listed as active for Monday night’s game but backup Drew Lock got the start. The veteran QB has been dealing with a groin injury that sidelined him in Week 14 and kept him from going through a full work week leading up to the team’s primetime game.
This week, Smith will have everything on his plate and Carroll says the 33-year-old will “play in the game and away we go.”
Seattle is fighting to keep its playoff hopes alive. It continues with a tough test against the similarly scrapping Titans on Christmas Eve.
