Woolen roughed up the Packers quarterback on the second play of the game.
As if Riq Woolen’s week wasn’t rough enough after a lackluster showing against the Green Bay Packers, he’s also lost some money.
The third-year Seattle Seahawks cornerback was fined $5,933 for his roughing the passer penalty on Packers quarterback Jordan Love. Woolen’s 15-yard penalty was actually more yards than any single Packers play gained on that touchdown drive.
Woolen had another penalty later in the game on a pass interference just before the end of the first half, gifting the Packers a short field goal when it looked like they were going to have to settle for a more difficult attempt.
It’s the second time Woolen has been docked money this season. He was previously dinged for taunting Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman after a pass breakup, which is mildly amusing given he gave up a touchdown to Coleman two snaps later.
No other fines were issued for the Seahawks, while Packers players weren’t fined at all.
