The Seahawks have gotten to work on building their 2025 offseason roster.
The 2024 Seattle Seahawks season has come to an end, and the team has wasted no time building for 2025.
Aside from the big decision to fire offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, Seattle signed 11 players to reserve/futures contracts.
- DT Quinton Bohanna
- CB Ryan Cooper
- LB Michael Dowell
- CB Tyler Hall
- C Mike Novitsky
- DE Kenneth Odumegwu
- S Ty Okada
- WR Cornell Powell
- LB Jamie Sheriff
- LB Tyreke Smith
- CB Damarion Williams
The most notable player on here is Jamie Sheriff, who was a standout preseason performer as an undrafted rookie but didn’t make the initial 53-man roster.
If all of these names look familiar, it’s because they were all on the practice squad. The practice squad dissolves when the season ends, making all of these players unrestricted free agents. By signing these 11 players, they’re all under contract with the Seahawks when the league year starts in March.
Running back Brittain Brown, offensive lineman McClendon Curtis, and wide receiver Miles Boykin were the three practice squad players who weren’t signed to a futures contract.
