Kickoff in Seattle is about a half hour away, and it hasn’t been announced who will start at quarterback for the Seahawks.
Geno Smith, who is the Seahawks’ usual starter but missed last week with a groin injury, was surprisingly listed as active when Seattle unveiled its final roster an hour ago.
However, just because Smith is active doesn’t mean he’s going to play, and by the sounds of the latest reporting on the scene, he probably won’t.
“The Seahawks are going through stretches on the field and I don’t see Geno Smith in uniform anywhere,” said ESPN’s Brady Henderson. “A few minutes ago, it was only Drew Lock and Sean Mannion going through warmups.”
Again, just Drew Lock and Sean Mannion throwing right now. Geno Smith is active, but I still don’t see him in uniform anywhere with 35 minutes to go before kickoff. pic.twitter.com/s6ZmHbcSry

When Smith was out last week, Lock replaced him and threw for 269 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in a loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
The Philadelphia Eagles are dealing with their own QB health issues tonight, but it looks like Jalen Hurts will start despite being sick.
Eagles-Seahawks will kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET tonight on ESPN/ABC.
