The former Seahawks special teams captain got the last laugh.
Well, as much as the 12s were looking to deflect blame onto Kyler Murray for his horrendous 4th quarter-play on Sunday, it really could be argued that ex-Seattle Seahawk and current Washington Commanders linebacker Nick Bellore was just as much to blame for the Seahawks missing the postseason.
Nick Bellore, of course, spent five seasons with the Seahawks before being released in March of 2024. He was signed by Dan Quinn and the Commanders in September.
University of Washington alum Michael Penix Jr did everything he could to keep the Seattle Seahawks and his former offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb in playoff contention on Sunday night – including staging a 4th quarter comeback that sent the game into overtime.
That’s when Nick Bellore sauntered out onto the field as the Falcons called tails for the OT coin toss. Tails it was, and Jayden Daniels got the ball, drove down for a touchdown, and never gave it back.
Monday morning, Nick Bellore posted the following tweet (or whatever they call it now) on X:

Of course, Quandre Diggs had to chime in too:
you are a troll dude

Special Teams ace Nick Bellore and already-eliminated Tennessee Titans safety Quandre Diggs, both released as cap casualties in the offseason, can have all the fun they want. It’s not their fault that the Seahawks missed the playoffs this year. And it’s not Kyler Murray’s, either. Is it Daniel Jones’s fault? Or somebody in the Seahawks’ organization? I don’t know, but I kinda miss Nick Bellore now.
