The Seattle Seahawks just announced the most shocking news of the NFL head coaching cycle, so far at least.
After 14 seasons, Pete Carroll’s tenure as head coach of the Seahawks is over. The 72-year-old one-time Super Bowl champion will remain with the organization as an advisor.
The most prominent reaction to the Carroll news is genuine surprise from fans and media members alike.
“Pete Carroll is done as coach of the Seahawks,” said Bookies.com, including the viral clip of Serena Gomez sharing shocking gossip with Taylor Swift at last weekend’s Golden Globes.
