The Seahawks’ starting right tackle is out with an abdomen injury, not a knee issue.
The Seattle Seahawks’ final injury report for the Los Angeles Rams includes two starters ruled out for the team’s season finale.
Right tackle Abe Lucas is out with an abdomen injury, which is obviously a new problem after he missed much of this season with a knee issue. Lucas had played every game after the Week 10 bye and only had a snap count restriction for the Week 11 win over the San Francisco 49ers. With Stone Forsythe back in the fold, perhaps he could be the replacement starter, or rookie right tackle Michael Jerrell may have another crack at the starting lineup.
Cornerback Josh Jobe is out with a knee injury sustained in the Week 17 win over the Chicago Bears, which will likely result in Tre Brown starting in his place again. Jobe has been one of the unexpected bright spots of the Seahawks’ season, having signed with the team as a practice squad player back in August.
The only other player with an injury designation is rookie defensive tackle Byron Murphy II, who is questionable with a back injury. Murphy II missed Seattle’s losses against the Detroit Lions, New York Giants, and San Francisco 49ers with a pulled hamstring suffered in Week 3.
Everyone else has no injury designation and is presumably good to go if needed.
Meanwhile, the Rams clearly care not about the difference between the No. 3 and No. 4 seed. They’ll be doing a lot of resting.
