The final piece of the Divisional Round puzzle will be solved on Monday night.
Seven teams are in the NFL’s Divisional Round weekend. Either the Minnesota Vikings or Los Angeles Rams will join them.
The Rams defeated the Vikings 30-20 in Week 8 on a Thursday night back in October, effectively sparking the Rams’ latest surge from the cellar all the way to the postseason. Minnesota didn’t lose another game until Week 18, when they were blown out by the Detroit Lions with the No. 1 seed at stake.
Can Sam Darnold get revenge on the Rams and ensure Seattle Seahawks fans can watch the rest of the playoffs in peace? Or will Sean McVay’s squad improve upon last season and win a playoff game? The winner takes on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
We have to acknowledge that this game is being played in Glendale instead of SoFi Stadium in Inglewood because of the horrific wildfires that continue to wreak havoc throughout Los Angeles. The death toll currently stands at 24 as of Monday morning and by no means is this nightmarish, apocalyptic story over. There are still fires raging and there are still strong winds forecast later in the week that could be extremely troublesome as far as extinguishing fires/new wildfires forming. Our condolences go out to those impacted by these wildfires.
ESPN/ABC/ESPN+ have the game coverage ay 8 pm ET/5 pm PT.
