Before heading to New Mexico, the Cougs will host Utah State at 7:30 this weekend and will be televised on the CW Network. While the Lobos will be heading to San Diego to take on the Aztecs on Friday in a night game of their own. Kickoff for that game will be at 7:30 pm at the Snapdragon beach Volleyball court field.
The Lobos struggled to start the season after going 0-4 and then turned the season around a little bit with a 3-game win streak over New Mexico State, Air Force, and Utah State before dropping close games to Colorado State and Wyoming over the past couple of weeks.
In their 49-45 loss to Wyoming this past weekend, the Lobos had two running backs rush for over 200 yards each as Devon Dampier had 208 yards and 3 touchdowns on 12 carries while Eli Sanders had 205 yards and 2 touchdowns on 17 carries.
The Cougs will be looking to stay hot this season as they are currently ranked #20 and are looking to see their name on the CFP rankings tonight. The rankings show will be televised on ESPN at 4:00 pm.
