The week 10 matchup will be played under the lights at Martin Stadium
After two weeks on the road, Washington State will return home for a matchup against Stanford on November 4th for a week 10 matchup. The Pac-12 announced on Monday that kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 pm and will be televised on Pac-12 Networks.
The Cougs, who have now lost three straight, will head to Tempe, Arizona for a matchup against Arizona State this weekend before returning home. The Sun Devils are coming off of a tough loss to Washington this past weekend while the Cougs finally looked like the team we saw for the first 4 weeks against Oregon this past weekend.
Stanford has been interesting this year as they sit at 2-5 with wins against Hawaii in Week 1 and Colorado, whom they beat in a double overtime comeback two weeks ago. Last week against UCLA, the Cardinal could not handle the Bruins and lost 42-7. Things won’t get much easier for them this weekend as they host #5 Washington.
Quarterback Ashton Daniels has led the Cardinal this year completing 60% of his passes for 1,225 yards, 8 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. Casey Filkins leads the backfield with 206 rushing yards and 1 touchdown. E.J. Smith is not too far behind him as he has tallied 174 yards and 1 touchdown.
Elic Ayomanor has lead the team in receiving with 591 yards on 36 receptions and is the only receiver with more than 1 touchdown. Ayomanor had a breakout performance in the comeback victory over Colorado a few weeks ago with 294 yards on 13 receptions and 3 touchdowns.
