Once a Coug.
Last night, Washington State Women’s Basketball legend Charlisse Leger-Walker announced she’d be taking her talents to UCLA.

During her time at WSU, Leger-Walker played in 105 games, starting in all of them. 1743 career points, averaging 16.6 per game, with 67 blocks and 389 assists, Leger-Walker will no doubt go down as one of the greatest athletes in WSU history (the greatest, depending on who you ask). With an almost 80% free throw rate, 585 career rebounds, and 199 career threes she will undoubtably be missed- both on and off the court.
Leger-Walker is a three time All-American as well, with three straight pre-season All-Pac-12 honors.
Her career as a Coug came to a tragic end on January 28th, 2024, during the second half of WSU’s upset of UCLA, tearing her ACL.
It’s no secret that Washington State has a bit of a past with the Bruins, considering they are who the Cougs upset in the 2023 Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Championship. Here are the game highlights!
We wish her well in all of her endeavors. Once a Coug always a Coug.
