Washington State was well represented in the NFL Draft this year!
Good morning, Coug fans!
As we know, a few of our Washington State Cougars landed in the 2024 NFL Draft, and while we recapped the initial selections (here!) a few more names might be coming to a practice squad near you.
We know that Jaden Hicks went in the fourth round to the Kansas City Chiefs (as a Taylor Swift fan, this is huge for me), Brennan Jackson went in the fifth round to the LA Rams, and Chau Smith-Wade also went in the fifth round to the Carolina Panthers!
However, those were not the only three WSU players that made their NFL dreams one step closer to reality.
The Seahawks have invited Devin Richardson and Sam Lockett for a try-out. I’m sure they’ll show the NFL what we already know- Cougs compete. Lockett also got an invitation from the Chiefs!

Ron Stone Jr., or RJ Stone as we know him, became an undrafted free agent, and signed with the Las Vegas Raiders. He’ll be able to say hi to our buddy Gardner Minshew, and they look to reunite both on and off the field.
Broke the news of Ron Stone (@Rj___Stone) signing with the @Raiders to Gardner Minshew.
