Washington’s fan base is fired up for this Saturday’s matchup against Oregon, that’s for sure.
ESPN’s “College GameDay” is in Seattle this weekend to preview this intense showdown between undefeated Pac-12 teams. Although it’s early on the West Coast, the fans are already firing off some chants on national TV.
During the first hour of “College GameDay,” it was very clear that Washington fans were chanting: “F— the Duck.”
Pat McAfee couldn’t help but address that chant from Washington fans.
“They were saying, ‘Truck the Duck.’ I think that’s what they were saying,” McAfee joked. “It sounded very similar to that.”
Note: Washington fans are not saying “Truck the Duck” but rather something else that rhymes. pic.twitter.com/KUOEA1VVcp

This afternoon’s game should be an absolute thriller, especially if Bo Nix and Michael Penix Jr. play up to their potential. Both quarterbacks are popular candidates in the Heisman Trophy race.
Oddsmakers have Washington as a slight favorite over Oregon. ESPN’s Football Power Index, however, gives the Ducks a 55.2 percent chance of defeating the Huskies.
Kickoff for the Oregon-Washington game is at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
