It sounds like the injury Washington running back Dillon Johnson suffered in the final minute of the Sugar Bowl won’t be enough to keep him out of Monday’s national championship game.
According to Alyssa Charlston of FOX 13 Seattle: “Johnson is expected to play Monday in the national championship. He said x-rays were negative.”

We’ll see how his condition improves throughout the week but it certainly looks like he’ll be up against it. Hopefully he’s able to give it a go come Jan. 8.
