Steve Belichick, the son of former Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, has a golden opportunity next college football season to show what he can do as a defensive coordinator.
Earlier this month, Washington hired Belichick as its new defensive coordinator. During an appearance on the “Green Light” podcast, he showed off his new office.
Belichick’s office is located above one of the end zones at Husky Stadium.
“Oh my God, dude. That’s beautiful,” Chris Long told Belichick. “I’m committing. Soft verbal.”
“You don’t even need to give a recruiting pitch here, Coach,” Kyle Long said. “You just show that view out your window and dudes will be signing up.”

Later in the podcast, Belichick was asked about his father. He provided an update for everyone wondering how the greatest coach of all-time is doing.
“I think he’s good,” Belichick said. “Let the stuff roll off your back and move forward. He doesn’t dwell, unless we lost a game and he needs to get on some guys. Eventually you need to turn the page. Honestly I wasn’t too involved in any of that stuff, he did his thing, I did my thing and that was kind of that. He’s definitely pursuing some other stuff, whether it’s TV or hopefully a regular on the Green Light or whatever it may be.”
Maybe Belichick’s father will visit him at his insanely nice office.
