Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. just went off against Michigan State.
In the first half alone, Penix completed 20-of-25 passes for 375 yards and four touchdowns to help Washington jump out to a 35-0 lead. If he repeats that in the second half, he’d finish with 750 yards and eight touchdowns on the day.

This is another electric performance from Penix and he’s showing that he belongs in the Heisman conversation.
Coming into this game, Penix had thrown for 859 yards and eight touchdowns during the first two games of the season. He’s now up to over 1,200 passing yards and 12 touchdowns in two and a half games.
He’s been an absolute freak and if he continues to play like this, Washington is going to be a super tough out this season.
All eyes will now be on what his final stat line will be and if he even finishes the game since it could get further out of hand in the second half.
You can watch the second half on Peacock.
