Washington head coach Jedd Fisch hasn’t even coached a game yet for the Huskies but he’s already got the fanbase on board after his perfect taunt of the arch-rival Oregon Ducks at Big Ten Media Days.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Fisch declared that Washington has beaten Oregon three times in a row. Granted, he wasn’t a part of any of those wins, but it’s still a big feat and their longest streak against the Ducks since the 1990s.
“Washington football has beaten Oregon the last three times we’ve played,” Fisch declared, via Matt Prehm of 247Sports.

Oregon fans weren’t amused by Fisch’s comment and started digging into him a bit.
“He just really gave Dan bulletin board material without knowing it,” one user remarked, referring to Oregon head coach Dan Lanning.
“And yall still 5-15 last 20 games,” wrote another.
“That streak is gonna end pretty quickly,” a third declared.
Fisch has some huge shoes to fill heading into his first year in Washington. Not only is he taking over for a head coach in Kalen DeBoer who had them within a game of a national title, he’s leading the Huskies into a new era as members of the Big Ten.
Will Fisch extend that streak to four straight in 2024?
