The first half between two Pac-12 title contenders and two Heisman Trophy hopefuls did not disappoint tonight.
No. 5 Washington led No. 20 USC 35-28 at intermission, with both Michael Penix Jr. and Caleb Williams putting on a show.
Penix Jr. threw for two touchdowns while Williams threw for one and ran for another. Running back Dillon Johnson, meanwhile, found the end zone three times on the ground for the undefeated Huskies.
Social media has been buzzing over the offensive outburst.
Per @StatsPerform the 63 combined points between Washington & USC were most combined in half between 2 AP Top 25 #Pac12 teams since 2000 (65 between UCLA & OSU)

Washington up 35-28 on USC is wild. The real wild part is that Penix and Williams only combined for 3 TD passes on 9 combined TDs. #UWvsUSC pic.twitter.com/FDxaOkcZip
