College GameDay traveled to a lot of different college campuses during the 2023 season, but for Desmond Howard there were a few that truly stood out from the rest.
Appearing on Sling, Howard said that four locations really resonated with him this past season. Those four schools were Michigan, Colorado, James Madison and Washington.
For Michigan, it was the atmosphere of The Game. For Colorado, it was the energy that Deion Sanders brought. For JMU, it was the discussion about their bowl game situation. And for Washington, it was the purple atmosphere.
ESPN’s @CollegeGameDay traveled all over the country this year.
Here were four locations that stuck with @DesmondHoward.

College GameDay is done for the year as far as campus visits go but the show will go on the College Football Playoff and national title game when the season finally wraps up.
And we already know that next year’s season debut episode of the show will be the Florida State vs. Georgia Tech game in Dublin, Ireland.
What do you think will be the best campuses the show visits in 2024?
