We’re right in the middle of Championship Weekend in college football and at least one college football team appears to have locked up their spot. Colin Cowherd is eager to see three more.
Taking to X during the Big 12 Championship Game, Cowherd said that he’s looking forward to seeing Michigan, Washington, Georgia and Texas in the College Football Playoff. He believes that the combination of “geographical balance,” “big brands” and prior national championship success makes it feel “perfect.”
“Be honest — Michigan. Washington. Georgia and Texas just feels perfect. Geographical balance. Big brands. All won nattys,” Cowherd wrote.

Washington defeated Oregon last night in the Pac-12 Championship Game to effectively secure their spot in College Football Playoff.
Texas are currently leading by 28 against Oklahoma State in the Big 12 Championship and will likely jump into the top four if Florida State loses today.
Georgia and Michigan play later and are both favored against Alabama and Iowa respectively.
Would Michigan, Washington, Georgia and Texas be the best combination of teams for this year’s College Football Playoff?
