Gonzaga destroyed USF in the second half at the Chase Center and came away victorious, 86-68. The Zags outscored the Dons 51-34 in the final twenty minutes of play. Graham Ike finished with 26 points and seven rebounds while Ryan Nembhard filled up the box score with 15 points, nine rebounds and six assists in the victory.
Gonzaga has won the last 30 meetings against USF dating all the way back to 2012. USF’s head coach Chris Gerlufsen is looking to lead the Dons to their third postseason berth in the last four seasons (2022 NCAA Tournament at-large bid and 2024 NIT at-large bid).
Tickets for the matchup will go on sale to the general public on September 25th at 10 AM PT at chasecenter.com. The Bay Area has a remarkable amount of Gonzaga alumni so it will be a Zag-filled atmosphere even in USF’s backyard.
