Hooptown USA is getting even more exciting college basketball action during March.
NCAA March Madness is coming back to Spokane in 2027. The Idaho Vandals and the Spokane Arena will be hosting some first and second round matchups in three years. The Pacific Northwest and the Lilac City love their hoops so this is quite the honor once again.

Last season, the Spokane Arena hosted a couple of thrilling first round games during March Madness. One future West Coast Conference program beat a current West Coast Conference program in No. 12 Grand Canyon over No. 5 Saint Mary’s, 77-66. #13 Yale also upset Bruce Pearl’s #4 Auburn, 78-76.
Coming out of the Spokane Regional was #5 San Diego State (a future Pac-12 member along with the Zags) and #4 Alabama who both moved onto the Sweet Sixteen in last season’s NCAA Tournament.
It’s much too far in advanced to know anything on how to purchase these 2027 first and second round tickets but you know that Hooptown USA will be packed with Gonzaga fans who just can’t get enough of college basketball.
