The former Gonzaga star suffered a right iliac hip fracture.
Chet Holmgren is expected to be sidelined at least 8-10 weeks with a right iliac hip fracture. He suffered the injury on an Andrew Wiggins drive when the Oklahoma City Thunder where hosting the Golden State Warriors this past Sunday. He had to be helped off the floor after the fall.

This is not a long term injury with no structural damage and he will be revaluated in 2 months. Holmgren will return to the court this season but will be dealing with pain and soreness for the immediate future.
Injuries have really prevented him for taking that next major leap in his career. Hope Holmgren has a speedy recovery as he was well on his way to be named an NBA All-Star for the first time in his young and promising career. He’s averaging 16.4 PPG on shooting splits on 50.5 FG%/37.8 3PT%/77.6 FT%, 8.7 RPG (22nd in the NBA), 2.6 BPG (3rd in the NBA), and 2.0 APG this season.
