The former West Coast Conference Player of the Year could’ve been a household name on a special 2019-2020 Gonzaga squad had it not been for COVID. Petrusev ended up getting drafted by the Philadelphia Sixers with the 50th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.
Team USA moves to 3-0 and have South Sudan up next on July 20th at 12 PM PT in London on FS1. Curry is set to make his official Olympic debut in less than two weeks on July 28th against Serbia in Group C. That’s why this exhibition between the two countries was important for both.
