The hype surrounding the South Korean native was loud when he enrolled with Gonzaga as a student halfway through the 2022-23. During his two seasons with the Zags, Seok Yeo never cracked the rotation as he only played 5.9 minutes per game in 39 appearances. He had a career average of 2.1 points per game and 1.0 rebounds per game.
It’s unknown at this time if the 6’8 forward will actually attend another Division-I school in the United States or ultimately decide to head back home to South Korea and begin his professional career.
Starting next year, all college basketball programs can now have 15 scholarship players on a roster. Gonzaga has at least six scholarships to fill up now.
