An NBA update on a pair of legendary Zags.
It’s been a rough week or so for the Zags in the NBA. It was announced that Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs will be out for the season after being diagnosed with a trochlea injury in his left knee. He suffered the original injury on January 25th against the Detroit Pistons.
In his fourth season, Suggs is averaging career-highs of 16.2 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per game, 1.5 steals per game, and 0.9 blocks per game in 35 games played. The Magic have struggled without him as of late, losing five of their last six matchups and currently stand to be the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference’s Play-In Tournament.
#Magic guard Jalen Suggs will be out the remainder of the season (including the postseason) and is expected to make a full recovery, @orlandosports has learned. https://t.co/lYRYBb30D0
