The #15 recruit in the ESPN 100 would be the gem of Gonzaga’s 2025 recruiting class.
Isiah Harwell just announced he’s down to four schools, per his Instagram. It;s between Gonzaga, Houston, Texas, and Cal. The Idaho native is set to make his decision on September 12th so he’s got quite a bit of time to think.
Harwell had an awesome quote from On3 Sports about his visit to Gonzaga’s campus back in February. “My favorite part of the campus was coach (Mark) Few’s office. I mean he had so many trophies in there. Just being in there, you can tell he is just a winner.” He unofficially visited Houston and will be in Berkeley on June 25th-26th.
The 6’6” 2025 shooting guard has extreme athleticism and tough shot making abilities. He has good explosiveness and burst when attacking downhill. Harwell offers size and versatility for the future Gonzaga backcourt.
A player on the the current Gonzaga roster who may be the most familiar of his game is Nolan Hickman as both attended Wasatch Academy in Utah. Hickman graduated from the school back in 2021 and Harwell would end up being his replacement at the 2 spot if he were to commit.
