Next goal on the resume for the Spokane legend is the coveted national championship.
Congratulations to Mark Few on winning a gold medal at the Paris Olympics. Zag fans around the world have so much pride to have you representing the program on the highest stage.
The face of Gonzaga basketball was given the opportunity to be apart of arguably the best basketball team ever assembled and he took full advantage. Just representing America on a platform like the Olympics is an honor in itself. Coming away on top, now that’s an accomplishment that Few will remember for the rest of his life.

The knowledge that Few took away from some of the most talented players on the planet will be inspiring for next season’s Gonzaga group and potential future Zags. Witnessing what Steph Curry did in his first Olympics. What LeBron James did in his fourth Olympic games. It was something for Few to behold on the bench in Paris.
The only collegiate head coach for Team USA bringing back gold to Spokane amongst a team filled with the best professionals is as cool as it gets. The current Zags working out in the McCarthey Athletic Center right now have to soak up everything that Few gained and is bringing back from across the pond. No other college leader had this type of experience this summer.
One can only hope this leads to the next checkmark on Few’s already Hall of Fame career. That national championship banner can finally silence the nay-sayers about what they think about Gonzaga. The 2024-2025 roster definitely has the talent to complete that goal for Few and the Zag faithful.
