The Community Cancer Fund Classic between the Zags and Pilots will be done for an important cause once more.
One more game announced at the Spokane Arena for the Gonzaga faithful next season, that makes it two now with the 2024-2025 opener for the Zags being played against Baylor on November 4th.
The Portland Pilots will travel up for this West Coast Conference matchup on January 2nd and it will all be done as a benevolent altruism. The Community Cancer Fund is a non-profit organization based in Spokane that is committed to providing critical support, resources, and research initiatives for individuals and families affected by cancer.
Last season, Gonzaga beat Pepperdine in the first annual Community Cancer Fund Classic, 86-60. The announced crowd was 12,015 and should be even larger for the second version in 2025.
Ability to purchase the tickets will be announced later on https://ccfclassic.com/. Proceeds go towards the Community Cancer Fund’s efforts in the fight against cancer in the Inland Northwest region.
