The Zags have landed in the Bahamas as they prepare for the Battle 4 Atlantis.
#3 Gonzaga (5-0) didn’t move in the third regular season edition of the Associated Press Top 25 poll. The Zags received a total of 1,428 points, including 2 first place votes. Only #2 UConn (4-1) and #1 Kansas (5-0) are ahead of Mark Few’s program but the Huskies lost to Memphis (5-0) in the first round of the Maui Invitational in overtime, 99-97. Penny Hardaway’s Tigers will be added into the AP’s Top 25 by the start of next week. Gonzaga has an opportunity to move up the ladder as well depending on the results in the Bahamas.

#8 Kentucky (5-0) has shot up the rankings since the season started. Saint Mary’s (6-0) received 52 total votes and are five spots away from joining the Top 25. UCLA (5-1) only got 5 votes.
The Zags open up the Battle 4 Atlantis with a matchup against West Virginia (3-1) on Wednesday, November 27th at 11:30 AM PT on ESPN. Gonzaga could end up playing either #14 Indiana (4-0) or Louisville (3-1) on Thursday, November 28th and possibly even #24 Arizona (2-2) in the championship game on Friday, November 29th. Providence is also in the tournament and received 3 AP votes.
